Send a message to the person who requested a photo of the grave monument of Elizabeth Maddocks with the following comment:
He is the Brother of Thomas Maddocks my G.G.Grandfather, who's Son William Maddocks came to Swansea around 1860 to work in the Copper Industry. William's surname was written down as Maddick in the 1861 Census and as such has been used since. There are so many versions of the name depending on how the Enumerator of the time thought the spelling was due to accents.
